Open Doors TUMBLINGER Creative Hub—A project by Kreativ München

TUMBLINGER Creative Hub—a unique creative hub in Munich’s Schlachthofviertel—is opening its doors and offering a glimpse into the creative processes taking place there.

During the mcbw, TUMBLINGER Creative Hub—located in the heart of Munich’s Schlachthofviertel—invites visitors to experience creative processes up close in various dimensions.

Since July 2025, the Kreativ München project has provided a total of 19 creative companies with permanently affordable workspace—embedded in a self-managed community of around 30 creative professionals who collectively shape and further develop the space with the support of Kreativ München. Various working groups developed and implemented the hub’s visual identity, spatial design, and formats for fostering creative exchange and a sense of community.

Now the hub is opening its doors and offering insights into what is created here every day: ideas, concepts, design, and interdisciplinary projects. The resident creative professionals will showcase their work, and look forward to exchange and conversation.

A film by Studio Seidel and Marc Heinemann about the TUMBLINGER Creative Hub and the people who bring this place to life will be shown. Just in time for the mcbw, the newly developed corporate design by BÜRO BÏEN and do.studio will also be unveiled, along with the current status of the design concept for the communal spaces by Atelier 83 and Dani Schneider Interiors.

The Creative Hub is a successful example of what can emerge when creativity meets community. True to the motto "Playgrounds of possibilities."
