Great ideas need the right setting to take shape. Discover how thoughtful design creates the conditions for experimentation and progress.
Space to Play—Design Principles for Innovation brings voices from architecture, corporate innovation, and design together to examine how environments can be shaped to support curiosity, creative thinking, and circularity.
The evening features a keynote and panel discussion co-hosted by Steelcase and S+W, and moderated by Steelcase Managing Director Dr. Dewi Schönbeck. Insights will be shared by experts including Markus Jacobi and Katrin Jacobs (HENN Architects), Alexander Walter (Deutsche Bahn) and Annette Baumeister (Designworks, A BMW Group Company), who will explore design strategies that invite experimentation and learning. Drawing on examples across workplace, architecture, and mobility industries, the discussion will delve into how design principles can be applied to spaces to support innovation and sustainability.
The evening concludes with an informal get-together and the option to tour the Steelcase Munich Learning + Innovation Center, offering participants the opportunity to experience these ideas first-hand and continue the conversation in an open, collaborative setting.
