»Playground Zeughaus«: TALK07.05.26—A conversation with designers

What does it mean to be a designer—and how do you manage to constantly reinvent yourself? A conversation with designers.

On May 7, 2026, Prof. Jana Reddemann and Prof. David Liebermann (Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle) and Hans Findling (Herburg Weiland) will visit the Department of Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences. They will speak with the TALK team about the various paths, experiences, perspectives, and decision-making processes they have encountered at the stages of their careers.

After completing their studies, Jana Reddemann and David Liebermann set up their own studio and subsequently went on to teach. After graduating from HTWG Konstanz, Hans Findling joined the team at Herburg Weiland, where he now works as Creative Director.

The TALK--.--.--. series aims to bring people together to discuss design and their work. The format seeks to connect ideas, disciplines, methods, and perspectives, Events take place in various locations at irregular intervals.

As part of the 2026 mcbw, which has the motto »Playground of Possibilities,« the Department of Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences is presenting its »Playground Zeughaus,« an introduction to its diverse range of activities in a variety of events held in the historic Zeughaus.
