For the first time, the mcbw masterclass event series offers school students and young professionals up to the age of 30 the opportunity to learn from established designers and engage in personal dialogue with them. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you will learn first-hand in their studio what it means to be a designer today, what qualities you need to bring to the table, and what obstacles you might encounter.

Textile designer and illustrator Steffi Bauer provides open and personal insights into her work and offers space for all the issues that interest you. Experience her work in a practical way in a short hands-on workshop, for an inspiring, intensive, and thoroughly enriching morning. What interests her most about the masterclass is honest exchange, a critical approach to the field, and the chance to encourage participants to take their own potential seriously, all without consideration of expectations, fears, or outside voices.

In order to fill the limited number of 20 places fairly and give everyone the same chance, we ask you to apply by April 10. The selection will take place in calendar week 16.
