An evening with Konstantin Grcic at MAGAZIN: In conversation, he talks about his new company 25KG, his collaboration with MAGAZIN, and the dialogue between design and industrial manufacturing.

The THINGS—the products that Konstantin Grcic designs for his own label 25KG—have a raw, unpretentious, and rather laconic appearance. They are available exclusively in the 25KG shop and now also at MAGAZIN. From design and production to distribution, everything is handled inhouse by 25KG. THINGS are designs that do not shy away from controversy and explore the limits of what is supposedly feasible. Traces of the production process may remain visible; function is the starting point for creating possibilities. At 25KG, too, serial production remains a central reference point—and the dialogue between industrial manufacturing and design opens up new scope for creativity. In conversation with design journalist Jasmin Jouhar, Grcic talks about his experiences as a producer and the connections between 25KG and MAGAZIN.
