Caldo Worldwide presents games developed by artists—works that demonstrate how artistic practice can open up new spaces for thinking about intelligence and technology.

Through gaming, we discover new ways of relating to the forms of artificial intelligence that increasingly shape our present. We engage with collective intelligences that emerge from our networked interactions, as well as with forms of non-human cognition that we are only beginning to understand.

Artists design and build playful interfaces—sometimes literal, sometimes conceptual—that allow these diverse forms of intelligence to interact with one another, learn from each other, and evolve.

Gaming fulfills a deeply epistemic function here, operating on multiple levels simultaneously.
