Creative Collisions

Like being inside a particle accelerator! Creative Collisions is where different perspectives from science and design collide. Be part of the experience and witness the birth of something new!

What can you expect? Based on current examples from the research context at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), you will discuss in personal conversations with researchers and design experts how design can inspire science—and vice versa. The focus of the evening will be on robotics in elderly care, education on democracy at vocational schools, perspectives of participants in nutrition studies, bringing AI research to angible life, or speculative design in basic research.

All participants are invited to contribute ideas about the future of design and science in carefully designed interactions and joint discussions. Afterwards, we will bring Creative Collisions to a close in a relaxed atmosphere. Over fresh pretzels and drinks, you will have the ideal opportunity to explore the content of the sessions further in personal conversations and to network.

You will also get an exclusive glimpse into Munich's new playground: TUM's Munich Design Institute at the Garching Research Center. We are just a 25-minute subway ride from Marienplatz! Prior registration and binding confirmation are strongly requested.
