Alexander König
Prof. Dr. Alexander König is Professor of Robotics and Systems Intelligence at TUM. Focusing on medical applications, he works at the intersection of deep-tech research, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer. With over 15 years of experience across academia, industry, and startup ecosystems, his work centers on translating cutting-edge research into market-ready technologies with measurable societal and medical impact.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a PhD in control engineering and robotics from ETH Zurich. He later conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School, focusing on mechatronics, automation, and neurorehabilitation. His scientific work has been published in leading international journals.
