Tim Oelker

After completing a carpentry apprenticeship, Tim Oelker studied product design at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Since 2001, he has run his own studio in Hamburg and has worked for clients including Berendsohn AG, the Deutsche Guggenheim, Deutsche Messe, Universal Music and Vestergaard.

Since 2006, he has been teaching product design at universities and academies in Hamburg, Hanover and Berlin. He was appointed a Universal Design Expert in 2014 and is a member of the Universal Design Forum e.V. and the Universal Design Competition jury.

Tim Oelker currently advises companies on design issues and the implementation of Universal Design Change Management.
