Stefan Goeppel’s career in extended reality (XR) spans over a decade, marked by a drive to make technology an intuitive outlet for human creativity. His journey began with shaping visual experiences across industries from automotive to media, with a view to bridging complex tech with real-world needs. Beyond industry, Stefan has also pushed boundaries in the media and has been recognized for his work with honors including the German Digital Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the Grimme Online Award. Over 250 VR cases later, with strong market traction, Stefan founded govar in 2021—a nimble “speed boat” of a company for disruptive XR solutions. govar’s mission is to make technology a positive force, not a gatekeeper, for human expression.
