Mirko Borsche
Mirko Borsche is a German typographer and graphic designer. In his youth, he was active as a graffiti artist, which had a significant influence on his later work. From 1992, he studied graphic design at Kingston University, London, and at Fachhochschule Augsburg. After five years as an art director in advertising, he co-founded the style magazine NEON and became art director of SZ Magazine. He taught at the Bauhaus University in Weimar in 2000 and at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster in 2002. In 2007, he founded his own graphic design studio, Bureau Borsche, and has since also been creative director for Zeit Magazine. The studio has received many international awards and works with clients from the cultural sector, luxury fashion houses, and commercial enterprises.
