Martina Knauf

Martina Knauf’s work has always been influenced by a cosmopolitan background of international education and travel.
She studied international economics, philosophy, psychology and sociology at Sophia University Tokyo, Art at the Academy of Art Nuernberg and Design at the Central Saint Martins College London.
Her introduction to the fashion world began with participation in an international student contest, followed by an invitation to a show in Miami, the Avenida Moda. These early experiences inspired a passion for the world of fashion that led directly to the founding of her own design label, Martina Knauf Accessories & Design.
Works by her are held in the collection of the Musée Galliera - Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.
