Andreas Enslin
Andreas Enslin (born 1959) is a renowned German industrial designer. Self-employed with a design agency from an early age (1985-2001), he became vice president of the VDID e.V. and remained there for several years. After a stint as design director at fittings manufacturer Grohe (2001 to 2005), he became best known as the long-standing director of the Miele Design Center (2005 to 2025). For almost two decades, he shaped the design language and user guidance of modern household appliances; during this period, Miele's designs won almost 400 design awards. Andreas Enslin retired in 2026 and co-founded consulting firm “LösungsNetz” in Dortmund, where he has been a managing director since 2026.
