Michael Geldmacher

Michael Geldmacher is a distinguished designer with a career spanning over two decades, who has significantly influenced the design industry. He and Stefanie Kubanek are the founders of the MUCNYC design studio, which was established in 2019. With international experience in industrial, furniture, and strategic design, they combine functional thinking with an intercultural perspective and a collaborative approach.

Beginning his professional journey in 2000, he has collaborated with numerous esteemed furniture brands, including MDF Italia, Bulthaup, Kristalia and many others. His innovative designs have been honored with prestigious accolades among others such as the Elle Deco Design Award, Wallpaper* Design Award, German Design Award, and iF Design Award.
