Dewi Schönbeck

Dr. Dewi Schönbeck is Managing Director at Steelcase, where she is dedicated to shaping the working environments of the future. Previously, as Workplace Design & Consulting Director she drove the development of customized and innovative office concepts for leading organizations. Dewi studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the University of Sydney and later taught at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, as Associate Professor of Environmental Design. Her work has been honored with awards from the Bund Deutscher Architekten, the Biennale di Venezia, and the iF Design Award. After roles at HENN Architekten, BMW Designworks, and CSMM, she joined Steelcase in 2019 and was appointed Managing Director in 2022.
