Christine Lörincz

Movement plays a central role in Christine Lörincz’s work. Drawing on the concept of the “envelope” that she attributes to architecture, she is particularly interested in the movement of people within and through space. Raised in Nuremberg, she studied architecture at TU Dresden and gained experience in Cologne, Berlin, and on the Côte d’Azur. In 2011, she founded FrischesDesign with Undine Stier—a platform that highlights good design in an urban context and promotes interdisciplinary dialogue. As a curator, she developed this into an endless calendar featuring twelve selected design objects and a round table as a gathering place.
