Julia Langkau

Julia Langkau is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Geneva and a member of the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences. Prior to joining the University of Geneva, she held positions at the universities of Fribourg, Flensburg, Konstanz, Zurich and Miami. Her research lies in the philosophy of mind, with a particular focus on imagination, empathy, fiction, creativity, and experiential knowledge. She is the principal investigator of the SNSF PRIMA project Creativity, Imagination and Tradition and co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Imagination and Creativity.
