Andreas Lanig
Prof. Dr. Andreas Ken Lanig (b. 1975) is a communication designer, design educator, and Dean of the Design & Media department at DIPLOMA University, based in Bad Mergentheim, Germany. He studied communication design at Merz Akademie Stuttgart and completed a European Media Master of Arts, with early focus on virtual learning in the EU project "LEDA." Since 2014, he has been Professor of Communication Design and Virtual Teaching at DIPLOMA, developing innovative formats for online and hybrid design education. His research covers design pedagogy, virtual didactics, and corporate communication; he also runs ken® kommunikationsdesign. Lanig serves on academic boards and sits on advisory boards for tekom. He received the German Design Award Special Mention.
