Anton Schröpfer

Anton Schröpfer is a sociologist who works at the intersection of music, education, and society. He studied sociology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and received his doctorate in 2020 from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) on social expectations of research. Today, he teaches sociology in the subject “Politics and Society” in vocational teacher training at the TUM Chair of Sociology of Science and Technology. In 2021, he founded Teach.Meet.Beat. (TMB), a recording studio with an integrated learning environment, which he uses to implement funding projects in fields including cultural education. He also initiated the volunteer-run “Sound Workshop,” for which he provides scientific support.
