Jennifer Rieker

Jennifer Rieker studied product design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the Glasgow School of Art. With an EXIST start-up grant, she founded Comake Shoes, a company specializing in sustainable footwear. Simultaneously, she founded Craftimoko DIY kits.

She gained international experience in interior and furniture design at tnastudio with Tomoko Azumi in London and with Matteo Ragni in Milan. Until 2014, she worked as a furniture and interior designer at LAGO SpA in Italy.

From 2016, she worked as a designer at bags and more GmbH, creating bags and backpacks for the automotive, motorcycle, and outdoor industries.

Since 2023, she has worked as a freelance product designer and also teaches design thinking and paper crafting workshops at various academies and schools.
